Sections 1-6 of the Factories Act 1937 are administered by
the Local Authority only in relation to factories in which
mechanical power is not used. The Sections deal with cleanliness,
overcrowding, temperature, ventilation, lighting and drainage of
Mrs.
Section 7 of the Factories Act 1937 relating to the provision of
sannitary accommodation is administered by the Local Authority
in relation to all factories.
