It is interesting to note that the three Infants who died from congenital abnormalities
died in hospital. Post Mortem examinations were done and in all cases,
maIformations of the cardiac system were found. If these children had survived, a
operation would have been necessary at a later date.

The Neo-Natal death rate was 1.92 per 1,000 live births.
