All the samples submitted to the Borough Analyst were reported
to be of a high standard of bacterial purity.
WATER SUPPLY
(a) Domestic Water
Each month samples from the main supplies were obtained
for bacteriological examination and twice during the year for
chemical analysis. All were reported to be satisfactory.
(b) Industrial Water
There have been 10 samples of water obtained from the wells
in use at factories, submitted to bacteriological examination.
Samples of water from both main and deep wells supply were
found to be of a high standard of baceteriological purity.
