Maternal Mortality
It is pleasing to report that no maternal deaths occurred
during the year.
Loss of Infant Life
The infant death rate in 1959 was 28.95 as compared
with 18.54 for 1958. The national figures for these years were
22.2 and 22.6 respectively.
