Food Hygiene (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulation
The Council were concerned at the delay in implementing the
coming into operation of Regulation 7 of the Food Hygiene Regulations,
1956, and pressed the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and
Food to implement the regulation prohibiting the peeling of onions
at the homes of outworkers.
Barking is an area where onion peeling is carried out in 60
premises.
