There are 50 butchers shops in the Borough. Each is provided
with modern refrigerators, adequate sinks and wash-hand basins with
constant hot and cold water supplies.
Five of these shops are also fitted with modern refrigerated window
stalls for displaying meat, a feature which it is hoped will become
increasingly more popular.
