Chiropody Service
This still remains a very popular service and difficulty was experienced
in meeting all demands for treatment.
The total number of attendances made was 17,349 s compared
with 24,023 for the previous year.
Throughout the year the service was handicapped by shortage of
staff, and the services of part-time chiropodists on a sessional basis
were utilized because whole-time staff could not be ro uited. You
made representations regarding increased remuneratior or chiropodists
without success.
Sick Room Equipment. This continues to be much in demand and
helps greatly to give comfort to patients nursed at home At the end of
the year nearly 500 articles were out on loan.
