Chiropody Service
This still remains a very popular service and difficulty was experienced
in meeting all demands for treatment.
The total number of attendances made was 17,349 s compared
with 24,023 for the previous year.
Throughout the year the service was handicapped by shortage of
staff, and the services of part-time chiropodists on a sessional basis
were utilized because whole-time staff could not be ro uited. You
made representations regarding increased remuneratior or chiropodists
without success.
