of the Borough of Barking.
Mr. Mayor, Ladies and Gentlemen,
In presenting this report, may I record that I commenced duty
as your Medical Officer of Health in October, 1955, when I took over
from Dr.Adamson who had very ably carried on since Dr. Cullington
left in June, 1955, to take up his appointment as Deputy County
Medical Officer of Health for Devonshire.
I should also like to record my thanks for the help I have received
from my colleagues and from members of the Council.
