Chiropody Service
This still remains a very popular service and difficulty was
experienced in meeting all demands for treatment.
The total number of attendances made was 24,023 as compared
with 20,557 for the previous year. Unfortunately, in many cases
treatment had to be less frequent than was desirable and a recommendation
was made that the establishment should be increased from
six to seven full-time chiropodists to meet current needs
At the end of the year the additional chiropodist had not been
agreed to and the resignation of two of the permanent staff had been
received.
