either by Pasteurisation or Sterilisation.
The following table shows the number of licences
granted during the year for the sale of graded milks
under the Milk (Special Designations) Orders, 1936
and 1938 :—

(a) Meat.
Since the outbreak of war slaughtering in Barking
has been discontinued.
(b) Supervision of Food Preparing Premises.
The number of premises in the district at the end
