During the year, 132 notifications were received of all forms of Tuberculosis—
pulmonary 98 and non-pulmonary 34 and there were 3 deaths of un-notified cases
(pulmonary), making a total of 135 new cases during the year.
Information has been received of the removal into the district of 39 tuberculous
persons, included in number of notifications received. This compares with 26
received for the previous year.
Once again I want to call attention to the large number of inward transfers.
This is due in large part to the expansion and development of the district.
