Legal proceedings during the year were instituted in one
case for infringement of Bye-laws in respect of the employment
of children, and one_ in respect of the employment of young
persons in street trading.
(22) SPECIAL ENQUIRIES.
Owing to the pressure of other work, it was found impossible
during the year to devote time to the prosecution of any special
enquiries in connection with the School Medical Service.
(23) MISCELLANEOUS.
Six young persons, who desired to become bursars and
student teachers, were medically examined during the year, out
of which number no one was rejected on medical grounds.
