I beg to submit my Report for the Urban District of
Barking Town for the year ended December 31st, 1898.
The population estimated up to the middle of the year was 20,000.
Population as per census of 1891, 14,301.
Area in acres, 3,813.
Persons per acre, average for the whole district, 52.
