In 1897, June was the heaviest month with 13. In 1898 there were
no cases at all at that age. The heaviest months in the year (1898),
were, February, 7; September, 6; and December 4; as against
July, 9, and October, 7, in the preceding year. I am therefore unable
to detect any definite connection between School Attendance and
Diphtheria.
I regret to say that I am unable to add a spot map, shewing the
distribution of infectious diseases in the town, as there is no such map
at Present available.
