are encouraged to maintain an active interest in all clinic activities.
Health Education is now being given by health visitors in both General Practitioners'
surgeries and local authority premises.

Prevention of Homiessness (Problem Families)
Intensive case work with problem families has continued by family case workers, and the
Department's social workers played their part in reducing the risk of homelessness in the
Borough. Families re-housed from temporary accommodation during the year were given all
possible support.
