Prevention of Homelessness - (Problem Families)
Intensive case work with problem families continued to be undertaken by two family case
workers. Families at risk of homelessness were successfully helped and progress was made
in cases where there were marital and other problems.
Support was given to the Warden at Redhill Lodge Hostel, who did excellent rehabilitative
work with the resident families. The whole atmosphere within the Hostel improved greatly and
a feeling of team spirit began to prevail.
