Milk
"Two samples of milk were slightly deficient in solids-not-fat
but associated samples were genuine and no further action was
taken. Two bottles of milk contained pieces of glass. The bottlers
were prosecuted and a fine of £5 0s. Od. plus £1 1s. 0d. costs was
imposed in respect of each of two summonses.
Cakes
"Three cakes, described as 'Cream Doughnut' Cream
Slice and 'Cream Shell' respectively, contained imitation cream.
An official caution was issued.
