Domiciliary Midwifery was performed as in previous years by
the Midwives of Queen Charlotte's Hospital. Only 12.6% of the
total births were home confinements.

The bulk of the hospital confinements were accepted at Central Middlesex and Queen Charlotte's Hospitals, the table below giving the distribution:—
