NOTES.
A statement as to the arrangements made by the Local Education
Authority for the examination and cleansing of infested pupils shoud
appear in the body of the School Medical Officer's Report.
All cases of infestation, however slight, should be recorded.
The return should relate to individual pupils and not to instanees
of infestation.
(i) Total number of examinations in the schools by the school
nurses or other authorised persons 1890
(ii) Total number of individual pupils found to be infested 460
(iii) Number of individual pupils in respect of whom cleansing
orders were issued (Section 54 (2), Education Act, 1944)
