REPORT OF THE SCHOOL OCULIST.
428 children were examined during the year. Glasses wore
prescribed for 314 and of these 210 were obtained.
. Two children were referred for squint operations and two for
orthoptic treatment.
Attendances at the clinic have been very good and there has
been a distinct improvment in the time taken for frames to be made
up.
There is a growing need for facilities for orthoptic training in
Acton or district as parents at present have to take their children
up to a London hospital.
