School Medical Officer

Acton Education Committee.
Ladies and Gentlemen,.
We beg to submit the following report upon the schools and
the school children of Acton for the year 1941.
At the request of the Board of Education, this report is as brief
as possible, while giving particulars as to the welfare of the school
children and the services carried on by the Borough for their benefit.
All schools were open in Acton for the whole of the year 1941
and all services were maintained. Medical inspections were carried
out as in normal times and all Clinics to deal with special defects
were in operation.
There were no changes in the medical staff, but there was a
reduction of one in the school nursing staff, caused by the retirement
