Meat Inspection.
Tables, showing the meat inspection carried out at the two
slaughterhouses in the Borough, will be found on pages 21 and 22.
Since the outbreak of War the larger slaughterhouse has been
operated by the Ministry of Food and the smaller as an emergency
slaughterhouse. The amount of killing in the large slaughterhouse
has reached great numbers and constant supervision and inspection
have had to be made by one of the Sanitary Inspectors.
