Section VI.—INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
The work of food inspection is carried out by two inspectors, who devote the whole of their time to these duties. Mr. Nixon inspects in Wards I, II, III and VI, and Mr. Adkins in Wards IV, V, VII and VIII. Particulars of the inspections and other duties carried out by these officers during the year are given in the following table:—

* Owing to sickness Mr. Nixon was absent from duty for 11 weeks. During this time

MILK SUPPLY.
Coteeheds.—There are no licensed cowsheds in the Borough.
Dairies and Milkshops.—The Milk and Dairies Order, 1926, requires the Sanitary Authority
to register all persons in their district carrying on the trade of cowkeeper or dairyman, and
also all premises which are used as dairies,
