to prevent work being carried out in premises which are insanitary, or in which infectious
disease is present.
In the first half of 1936, 257 notifications of outworkers were received from 19 local
authorities outside St. Pancras.
In the second half of 1936, 581 notifications were received from 20 local authorities
outside St. Pancras.
From St. Pancras employers in the first half of 1936, 278 notifications were received,
of which 72 addresses were in St. Pancras. The remainder were forwarded to the appropriate
local authorities.
In the second half of 1936, 249 notifications were received, of which 70 addresses were
in St. Pancras. The remainder were forwarded to the appropriate local authorities.
