To the Chairman and Members of
the Acton Education Committee.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
We beg to submit the following report upon the schools
school children of Acton for the year 1935.
Changes in the staff occurred during the year. In May,
Dr.Howell resigned to take up an important post with the Welsh
Board of Health after over three years devoted service to the Committee,
and Dr. Madeley has succeeded her. In June Miss Broughtors
was. appointed a Health Visitor and School Nurse to the Brentbond
Chiswick Council; she had served here in a similar capacity
with quiet effciencv for 2½ years. Miss Greenwood was appointed
to succeed her in July of last year.
