Deaths in Public Institutions.
Of the total number 386 occurred in Public Institutions and
17 in nursing homes. Qf this total 263 occurred in hospitals outside
and 105 in hospital in the district.
Inquests and Coroner's Inquiries.
38 inquests were held and in 26 instances the Coroner issued
acrtificate without an inquest after he had ordered a post-mortem
examination.
INFECTIOUS DISEASES.
Scarlet Fever.
37 cases were notified during the year as compared with 95
cases in 1931.
Reference to the following table will show that this is the highest number of cases which have occurred in any year 1921.
