MATERNITY AND CHILD WELFARE.
Infantile Mortality.
55 deaths occurred in children under one year of age.
This number corresponds to an infantile mortality of a little less
than 55 per 1000 births. Not only was the number of deaths
in 1928 the lowest recorded in the history of Acton, but the
infantile mortality was also the lowest on record, with the
exception of 1926.
