It will be observed that the statistics in Table No. 3 are drawn
up somewhat differently from former years. In accordance with
the request of the Board of Education, we have made use of
a table suggested by them, but in order that the Committee may
be able to make comparisons with former years, we give a second
table, with the scholars grouped under schools as before
