compulsory notification been a complete success, and the
reason is not far to seek. The notification was probably of an
incomplete character. Until Measles comes to be regarded by
the public as a serious disease it will be impossible to obtain
the necessary co-operation of parents. It is certain that
parents would not, under present conditions, notify all the
cases, and a doctor is not in attendance on one-third of the
cases.
