Examination of Teachers. Twelve teachers have been
medically examined on appointment to schools in this district,
all of whom passed the medical examination.
A record of each physical examination together with the
family history of the candidate is entered on a card, and filed
for subsequent reference. This method has been found useful,
when, for various reasons, it is necessary to make a second
examination.
SWIMMING.
During Season of 1909, 15 Swimming Classes were held weekly during School hours and seven classes out of School hours. Total 22 classes weekly.
