I herewith present my seventh annual statement, showing the
particulars of the actions taken in the suppression of Nuisances,
etc., and various improvements effected during the year 1906.

1,645 Nuisances abated
1,200 Preliminary Notices served
692 Statutory Notices served
51 Drains opened up for examination upon written
complaint. The Volatile or chemical test was
applied in numerous instances
108 Plans of new drainage systems submitted and
approved by the Council
35 Workshops inspected 54 times.
78 Houses let in Lodgings inspected 236 „
54 Furnished rooms inspected 218 „
2 Common Lodging Houses inspected 112 „

69 Dairies and Milk Shops inspected 98 „
