I personally visited all cases of Chicken-pox
immediately on receipt of notifications.
One case of Small-pox, notified as Chicken-pox, I
diagnosed as modified Small-pox, and the patient was
removed to hospital. A similar case of modified rash
occurred in the same house, so I got the opinion of
Dr. McC. Wanklyn, the expert retained by the County
Council, who agreed with my diagnosis.
