THE MORTUARY.
During the year 22 bodies were deposited in the Public Mortuary;
of these 14 were males and 8 were females. Post Mortem examinations
were performed upon 14 of these cases, and 20 inquests held.
The Zymotic death-rate for the year was 2.5 per 1,ooo of the
population.

In the following table the death-rate and Zymotic death-rate are so arranged that comparison can be made for the last twelve years:—
