Health Education.
The aims of health education have been defined by an expert committee of the World Health
Organisation as:—
(i) To ensure that the community regards health as an asset.
(ii) To equip the individual with skills, knowledge and attitudes to help him solve his own health
problems.
(iii) To promote the development of the health services.
