No infantile death occurred from the following causes not shown in the table: Small-pox, chicken-pox, measles,
whooping cough, scarlet fever, diphtheria and membranous croup, tuberculous meningitis, abdominal tuberculosis,
other tuberculous diseases, atrophy, debility and marasmus, injury at birth, erysipelas, syphilis, rickets, convulsions,
gastritis, laryngitis, meningitis, suffocation, overlying.
