No infantile death occurred in the age-groups 1 and under 2 weeks, 6 and under 9 months, 9 and under 12 months, or from the
following causes not shown in the table : Small-pox, chicken-pox, measles, scarlet fever, diphtheria and membranous croup, whooping
cough (Code Nos. 1—6), tuberculous meningitis, abdominal tuberculosis, other tuberculous diseases (Nos. 9—11), atelectasis (No. 15),
erysipelas, syphilis, rickets (Nos. 17—19), convulsions, gastritis, laryngitis, bronchitis (Nos. 21—24).
Mortuary.—Ten bodies (4 male, 6 female) were deposited at the Emergency Mortuary, No. 24, Hill Road. No
post-mortem examinations were carried out.
