Act, 1925:

As to progress it may be noted that during the year considerable advance in
the direction of improving housing conditions within the Borough has been made.
Particularly is this so in the Carlisle Street area, where two new blocks have been
completed and occupied, and the erection of a third block commenced. Part of the
south side of North Street has now been cleared as have portions of Venables
Street and Luton Street. The east side of Lyons Place has been cleared in connection
with a road widening scheme.
