ANNUAL REPORT OF THE PUBLIC ANALYST, 1921.
The number of samples taken under the Sale of Food and Drugs Acts anc submitted for analysis, was 1,130: a considerable increase as compared with the samples for 1920, the number for that year being 1,030.

Milk.—304 samples of milk were examined, of which 5 were adulterated, the
adulteration in each instance being deficiency in fat ranging from a 3.3 per cent,
deficiency to 66.7 per cent.
