The distribution of the 94 deaths was as follows :—In Poor Law Institutions,
23 ; general and other hospitals, 32 ; at home, 39.
Of those who died 56 were insured (39 males and 17 females), and 35 uninsured
(16 males and 19 females).
As it may be useful for statistical purposes it may be mentioned that while the
deaths numbered 94 the notified cases of pulmonary tuberculosis totalled 202.
Tables similar to those printed below and showing the age distribution of the
deaths and the occupation of the patients have appeared in previous reports. No.
comment with regard to them is necessary since no fact to which attention has not
already been directed is brought out.
