DEATHS IN RELATION TO AGE.
The age distribution of the deaths that occurred in 1914 is shown in the
following table, which gives also, for the purpose of comparison, the figures for each
age group in 1912 and 1913. The fall in the number of deaths in the second group

and the continued increase in the figures for the group 45-65 may be noted.

Of the total, 139 at death were aged between 65 and 70; 254 between 70 and 80: 122 between 80 and 90, and 19 between 90 and 100. The outstanding causes of death were as follows:—
