BACTERIOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF FOOD.
The practice of taking a certain number of samples of food and submitting them
to the Council's bacteriologist (Dr. Eastes) for examination was continued during
1912. In all, 15 were taken, of which were milk.
Of the milk samples, some were taken at one or other of the railway stations,
others at shops within the Borough.
