tenements were covered in these certificates.
Two applications for certificates in respect of premises
covering 33 tenements were refused, the owners of a large
block of flats in one case refusing to comply with the requirements
to provide anti-syphonage pipes to the w.c.'s, and in the
other case, in consequence of the owner not complying with a
requisition to amend the sink waste pipes.

Statement showing the number of Statutory Notices served
in respect of which the Medical Officer of Health certified that the
house or part thereof was infested with vermin, compared with
the same period of the previous year.
In each case the notices to remove the wall paper from the
walls and take such steps as were necessary to remove the vermin,
were promptly complied with :—
