During the four weeks ending March 2nd, there have been registered
177 births, and 190 deaths. These births and deaths are divided among
the four sub-districts as set forth in Tables 1Y. and V. Seventy-two of the
deaths were extra-parochial as follows:—

St. John, birth-rate 18.7; death-rate 21.2.
The whole district, birth-rate 17.9; death-rate 19.2.
The average death-rates for ten years (1897 to 1906) for the corresponding
period were as follows:—All Souls, 17.6; St. Mary, 27.3; Christ Church,
19.5; St. John, 25.3; the whole district, 20.6.
