for the Quarter ending September 28th, 1907, and the Quarterly
Statement of Analytical Work done under the Sale of Food and
Drugs Act, &c.

The week ending August 10th was fair and warm. Minimum temperature,
50.5°; maximum, 77.0°; mean, 64.2°. On two days rain fell to the extent
of 0.08 inch. Winds S.W. and W.S.W. Sunshine 33.7%. Mean barometer,
29.8 inches.
The week ending August 17th was showery and unsettled. Minimum
temperature, 50.0° ; maximum, 73.0° ; mean, 63.3°. On three days rain fell
(0.62) inch. Winds W.S.W. and S.W. Sunshine 447%. Mean barometer,
29.8 inches.
The week ending August 24th was similar to the preceding week.
Minimum temperature, 46.0°; maximum, 69.5°; mean, 58.l°. On three
days rain fell (0.46 inch). Winds W. and VV.S.W. Sunshine 35.5%.
Mean barometer, 30.0 inches.
The week ending August 31st was also unsettled, Minimum temperature,
46.0° ; maximum, 75.2° ; mean, 63.0°. On two days rain fell (0.40 inch).
Winds variable. Sunshine 42.6%. Mean barometer, 30.0 inches.
The week ending September 8th was one of unsettled weather. Minimum
temperature, 45.5° Maximum, 70.0°. Mean, 59.3°. On four days rain fell
to the total amount of 0.54 inch. Winds S.W. and variable. Sunshine,
17.9%. Mean barometer, 29.8 inches.
The week ending September 14th marked the commencement of a dry
summery period. Minimum temperature 43.0° ; maximum 72.5° ; mean 62.6°.
Winds S.E. Sunshine 45.8%. Mean barometer, 30.2 inches.
The week ending September 21st was similar in weather but dull and
overcast. Minimum temperature, 45 5° ; maximum, 71.0 ; mean, 63.5°.
Sunshine 68%. Winds S.E. and S.S.E. Mean barometer, 30.3 inches.
The week ending September 28th was bright and summery. Minimum
temperature, 39.0° ; maximum, 79.8° ; mean, 61.1. On two days rain fell
0.08 inch. Sunshine 47.4°. Mean barometer, 29.9 inches.
