The week ending July 6th was unsettled and cool. Minimum temperature,
45.00; maximum, 65.00; mean, 55.00. Winds N.E. and S. W. On four
days rain fell equal to 0.37 inch. Sunshine 33.75 hours equal to 33.6%.
Mean barometer 29.8 inches.
The week ending July 13th was similar in w eather to thj preceding week.
Minimum temperature, 43.00; maximum, 68.80; man. 58.70 On four
days rain fell equal to 0.37 inch. Winds W.N.W. and W.S. W. Sunshine
equal to 33.6% of the possible. Mean barometer, 30.0 inches.
The week ending July 20th was a sunny summery week. Minim im
temperature, 35.00; maximum. 77.80; mem, 68.00 On one day r.iin fell
(0.01 inch). Winds N.E. and E.S.E. Sunshine equal to 52.5%. 'lean
barometer, 30.2 inches.
The weekending July 27th was unsettled, wet, and overcast. Minimum
temperature, 47.20; maximum, 69.50; mean 61.80. On live days rain fell
equal to 0.88 inch. Winds E.S.E. and S.S.YV. Sunshine only 19.7%. Mean
barometer, 29.9 inches.
The week ending August 3rd was bright but unsettled. Minimum
temperature, 44.10. Maximum. 76.50. Mean, 60.50. On five days rain fell
(0.52 inch). Winds W. and S.W. Mean barometer 29.8 inches.
The five weeks were therefore on the whole cool, deficient in sunshine
and wet, 19 out of the 35 days yielding rain to the total quantity of 2.16 inch.
