Daring the four weeks ending April 1st there have been registered
196 births and 191 deaths—equal to a birth-rate of 19.2 and a death-rate of
18.7 per thousand. The mean death-rate for the corresponding period during
the last five years was 21.4 per thousand.

Quarterly Summary.

During the March Quarter there have been registered 668 births and 581 deaths. These births and deaths are divided among the five sub-districts as set forth in Table V.; 201 of the deaths were extra-parochial, as follows: —
