The week ending April 2nd was one of moderate temperatures and
variable winds. Minimum temperature, 33.5°; maximum, 52.5°; mean,
43.8°. On three days rain fell to the amount of 0.83 inch. The sunshine
in Regent's Park was equal to 24 per cent. of the possible. Mean barometer
29.9 inches.
The week ending April 9th was showery. Minimum temperature, 38.0°;
maximum, 63.5°; mean, 50.1°. Winds N.W. and W.N.W. Sunshine
equal to 34 per cent. Rain fell on five days ; the total rainfall equalling
0.33 inch. Mean barometer 29.8 inches.
The week ending April 16th was a fine spring week. Minimum
temperature, 36.8° ; maximum, 65.5° ; mean, 51.8°. On two days rain fell
0.32 inch. Winds W.N.W. and N.W. Sunshine 33 per cent. Mean
barometer 29.6 inches.
