The week ending April 4th was wet. Minimum temperature, 33.5°;
maximum, 55.0°; mean, 47.7°. On seven consecutive days rain fell, giving
a total of 0.84 inch. Winds, WSW. and W. Sunshine registered in
Eegent's Park equal to 16.9%. Mean barometer, 29.7 inches.
The week ending April 11th was fine and dry. Minimum temperature,
35.5°; maximum, 55.0°; mean, 48.3. On one day slight rain
fell, 0.06 inch. Winds, WSW. and NE. Sunshine, 17.7%. Mean barometer,
30.1 inches.
The week ending April 18th was also fairly dry and bright. Minimum
temperature, 29.0°; maximum, 50.0°; mean, 42.0°. On two days slight
rain fell, 0.07 inch. Winds, NNW. Sunshine, 54.7%. Mean barometer,
30.0 inches.
The week ending April 25th was rainless. Minimum temperature,
30.0°; maximum, 58.0Q; mean, 45.3%Cool ENE winds prevailed. Sunshine,
25.5%. Mean barometer, 29.6 inches.
The week ending May 2nd was unsettled and wet. Minimum temperature,
41.0°; maximum, 60.9°: mean 50.6°.On six days rain fell, giving
a total rainfall of l.57 inches. Winds, SE. and SW. Sunshine, 24.3%.
Mean barometer, 29.3 inches.
