The week ending October 3rd was the first of a series of wet weeks.
Minimum temperature, 52.00; maximum, 68.0°; mean, 61.7° Wind, S.W.
Rain fell on four days up to 0.59 inch. Sunshine registered in Regent's
Park equal to 26 per cent. of the possible. Mean barometer 29.8
inches.
The week ending October 10th was a wet week. Minimum temperature,
39.00; maximum, 64.0°; mean, 53.5°. Winds, S.W. and
N.W. On five days rain fell (1.29 inch). Sunshine, 18.7 percent. Mean
barometer 29.6 inches.
The week ending October 17th was similar to the preceding—a wet
week. Minimum temperature, 43.5°; maximum, 61.50; mean, 53.5°.
Winds, W.S.W. Rain fell for five days to the amount of 1.85 inches.
Sunshine, 27.4 per cent. Mean barometer 29.5 inches.
The week ending October 24th was wet and gloomy. Minimum
temperature, 37.20; maximum, 55.0°; mean, 50.9°. On four days rain
fell (0.71 inch). Winds, S.S.W. Only six hours of sunshine recorded
throughout the week. Mean barometer (low) 29.4 inches.
