Births and Deaths.
During the five weeks ending August 1st there have been registered
245 births and 136 deaths. These births and deaths are divided among the
five sub-districts as set forth in Table IV. Forty-seven of the deaths were
extra-parochial, as follow:—

Rectory, birth-rate 17.3 ; death-rate 12.6.
St. Mary, birth-rate 21.8; death-rate 12.6.
Christ Church, birth-rate 23.4 ; death-rate 8.9.
St. John, birth-rate 20.4 ; death-rate 11.7.
The whole district, birth-rate 19.0; death-rate 10.6.
